We bought recently a Web Boat 4G PLUS. When the technician tried to configure with a SIM provided by Bouygues Telecom France, that was not working.
So for test purposes, we have tried with a SIM provided by Orange. And that’s working fine. However, we can’t keep this Orange provider because its network coverage on the Seine (French river from Rouen over Paris) is very low compared to Bouygues.
We have also tried to configure manually the APN with mmsbouygtel.com, but we still have the issue (we are not sure of the configuration).
We would like to be able to use Bouygues Telecom. Are you aware about any issue between your product and Bouygues SIM card ? Any option that we should have to disable on the SIM card ?
Do you have any workaround to bypass the current automatic configuration ?

Can please mount the Bouygues sim in a mobile phone to check if the sim work correctly? Can check if there is some sms about activation o block about the surf on internet?
I have checked the APN you have used, and it is the only one the company website suggest.
Can please check with the provider if there is some limitation if the sim is used in tethering mode? and if the apn used is correct?

Thank you for your support, we have just tried :
– To mount the Bouygues sim in Android mobile phone with success
– To surf on internet with this phone with success
– To share the connection from this phone to another phone and it was working with success
The current APN mmsbouygtel.com is referenced to their documentation: https://www.assistance.bouyguestelecom.fr/s/article/parametrage-mobile-email-mms-internet. In addition from the phone we can see this APN too.
Tethering mode/ modem following their documentation, https://www.assistance.bouyguestelecom.fr/mobiles/internet-email-mobile/fonction-modem-smartphone-forfait, is available for any phone package and nothing to configure.
I can see other parameters that we can’t configure into your application like authentication type, PDP type, APN type… Is it something that could make it not working with your default configuration? From what I could read, it looks like regarding Bouygues the APN type can be Default,mms or internet+mms. However it’s not clear.

Can try to leave the APN field blank? Sometime the provider does not need the APP.
Let me know if this solve the issue.

J’ai exactement le même problème avec Bouygues Télécom et ma webboat 4g lite…avez-vous trouvé une solution pour la faire fonctionner avec cet opérateur ?

We are in Germany with a simcard from the Netherlands. Vodafone as provider. SIM card works well in telephone but no roaming in global plus. What’s going wrong

Dear Harry, do you have tryed to setup the apn manually?
If this dosn’t work, send an e-mail to email@example.com with the screenshot fo the panle control and a screenshot of the apn setup in advanced settings.
